We could not be more excited to be reaching out to all of you. Deciding to close the doors at Studio Velo was one of the most emotionally challenging points
in our lives. After countless hours reflecting on the relationships we formed, the friendships we made, the
experiences we created and the fun we had building Studio Velo, it became clear we had an amazing opportunity in front of us.
Approaching our next venture with our collective decades of experience, a clear vision of what
we are building, and a fresh excitement and energy has been incredible. We’ve taken the last few months to design and begin building our new brand, and we are officially inviting you to join us.
Ambedo offers a fresh take on cycling retail, travel, and brand experiences. We have brought together the best brands in the business, supported by the best people in the business, to create an offering that will fill nearly all your cycling needs.
So what is this thing?
Bikes: Yes! We are working with Stinner, Enve, Pursuit and will be announcing new brands soon! We have cultivated relationships with the best fitters in the Bay Area and beyond along with wheel builders and mechanics that meet our exacting standards. Our process is more attentive and consultative than ever before.
Travel: We offer private guided trips where ever you want to go. Or primary offerings are in Sisters, OR with simply endless miles of beautiful gravel routes. We are partnered with The Left Coast Lodge as well as other properties and local businesses for food, lodging and other activities. We also operate globally with Ambedo trips and other trip operators.
Experiences: A vague word indeed… purchasing a bike is an experience… a trip is an experience. Cycling in and of itself is all about the experiences we have out there on the roads and trails. Our intention is to enable cyclists and brands to connect and enjoy this thing we all love so much. From single day events to pop-up retail to product launches, we make it happen.
